Description
Among its many uses, Rose Hydrosol’s sublime floral aroma is perfect for refreshing bed linens, room environments, nurseries, and in the car or plane. Its cooling and mildly astringent properties are a gift for mature and sensitive skin. As a facial refresher, it adds and helps retain moisture in dry and aging skin. Rose Hydrosol may be used in masks and steams, in the bath, as a toner, and to moisten skin before application of facial oils.
Our rose hydrosol is distilled using fresh plant material that not only allows capture of all the volatiles, but most importantly, the cellular water from the living plant. It is this cellular water, imbued with nourishing minerals and fatty acids, that make it dynamic and vibrant compared to using dried out material with a resulting loss of those important skin-refreshing and aromatic molecules.

Step 1
Apply after cleansing or face masks. Generously dampen a cotton pad with Ma Ward.
Step 2
Pat over the face, neck, and eye area in a circular motion. For added refreshment, finish by splashing a little in your hands and patting into the skin.
Tips
- For very sensitive skin, dampen your pad with warm water before applying Ma Ward.
- To help calm irritated or dry skin, spray the hydrosol directly onto the area(s) of concern or soak a cotton round or clean cloth in the hydrosol and apply where needed.
- Remove makeup or clean skin by first massaging your favorite carrier oil gently onto your face. Add the hydrosol to a cotton round and wipe away the oil, makeup, and other impurities, while helping to refresh and tone.
- Spray onto bedding and linens to promote a sense of well-being.
- Use Ma Ward for creating body and bath products, room sprays, and linen mists.
